Independent assurance, conducted under ICAI standards.
Statutory, internal, tax and stock audits, due diligence and management reporting — partner-led engagements in accordance with the Standards on Auditing issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
What audit & assurance covers.
A spectrum of independent reviews — from statutory financial statement audits to operational and transaction-support engagements.
Audit and assurance is the firm’s core practice area. Engagements are partner-led and structured around the Standards on Auditing, the Standard on Quality Control 1 (SQC-1) and other professional pronouncements issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Our work spans statutory financial statement audits under the Companies Act, 2013, tax audits under the Income-tax Act, 1961, internal audits and process reviews, stock audits for banks and lenders, and transaction-support engagements including buy-side and sell-side due diligence.
Engagements are scoped formally through an engagement letter, preceded by independence checks. Fieldwork is performed under direct partner supervision, and all deliverables are reviewed and signed off by the engagement partner.

We identify and assess risks of material misstatement at the entity, account-balance and assertion level, in line with Standards on Auditing 315 and 330.

The role of audit in Indian business.
Audit and assurance is not a discretionary service — it is a statutory and contractual requirement under multiple Indian laws and lender frameworks.
An auditor expresses an opinion on whether financial statements give a true and fair view, in conformity with the applicable financial reporting framework. That opinion carries weight only because of the auditor’s independence.
Companies Act, 2013
Statutory audit applies to every company. Listed and certain unlisted entities additionally require Internal Financial Controls and Key Audit Matters reporting.
Income-tax Act, 1961
Tax audit under section 44AB applies to entities exceeding turnover thresholds, with Form 3CD reporting on key tax positions and disallowances.
Banking & lender requirements
Stock audits and concurrent audits required by lenders and Reserve Bank of India norms for working-capital facilities and certain regulated entities.
Investor & board assurance
Audited financials provide independent assurance to shareholders, boards, audit committees, lenders, regulators and prospective acquirers.
